Mein Leben in England (:

Ich war bis grade eben mit Elena bei der Maud Foster Mill hier in Boston.Wir dachten uns,wenn wir schon hier leben,müssen wir uns auch ein bisschen die historischen Sachen angucken und das machen wir jetzt jeden Samstagvormittag..
So hier ein paar Informationen über die Mühle,aber dieses Mal auf Englisch:
 The Maut Foster Mill was built in 1819 for the Reckitt family and is now famous for Reckitts Blue laundry whitener,Bettol and Brasso!
The mill cost princely sum of 1826 Pound 10s 6d and took about five months to build.It was the 15th and last windmill to be built in Boston and is the only survivor.
The mill worked from 1819 until 1948 when mechanical problems made it unusable. After a 40 year rest the mill was restored to working order and re-opened in 1988once more grinding flour for a living.
The mill is still in private hands and the owners welcome you here to share this magnificent example of Georgian engineering.
So you can climb all 7 floors and see flour being made the traditional way by wind power.Also you can go to the Tea-Room and Mill Shop.
Ja und beim Tea-Room waren wir dann auch,haben den Maud Foster Mill-Tea getrunken und uns ein Gebäck nach geheimen Rezept bestellt.
Danach haben wir uns,gestärkt, die ganzen 7 Etagen der Mühle angeguckt.Ich hab jede Menge Bilder gemacht,dachte mir aber,dass ich einfach nur nen paar reinstelle,will euch ja nicht zuschütten ;)
Der Tag war aber iwie richtig suuper und auch die Mühle von Innen war richtig interessant..
